About

My name is Damian Frick, I'm from Liechtenstein and I'm currently (it's fall 2008, when I'm writing this) in the 3rd term of my electrical engineering studies at the ETH.

I'm participating in this project because of the following reasons (unordered):

• I like to program.
• I'm interested in the inner workings of games.
• I like ego-shooters (such as Quake 3 Arena (a classic), Unreal Tournament 2004 or Battlefiled (more of a tactical shooter, though)), but I also like other types of games (maybe even more so), especially strategy games (Civ, Age of Empires, Dawn of War, …), adn RPG's (Gothic, Fable) - If I only had the time.
• Because of the release of ​Spore and the coming release of ​Fable2, my interest in game design has peaked. Especially because they both provide a new approach to gaming.
• User interfaces interest me quite a lot.
• Oh, I almost forgot. 8 PPS-Points, what more is there to say.
