The Pirate Interceptor is a small pirate fighter ship. It is manned by a single person that takes care of flying, reconnaissance and attacking tasks. With a skilled pilot, it can be a serious threat for its targets. 

Interceptors use a [wiki:PirateCarrier carrier] as a mobile base. They are built very light and agile and do not carry large amounts of fuel. Hence, they rely on their carrier to travel longer distances.
